    Webmaster tools has nothing to do with indexing.

    Google will index a page if it finds it's link on another site.

  • It a shame that Google is stressing new exciting content. I thought the internet WAS a great place to find information - not just current but also legacy. Besides, Google seems very fickle and is hard to keep up with anyways. Their search results return millions of links but none are ever quite useful.

    I do have a few questions: Can sites even be indexed if they are not registered in Webmaster Tools? Will they show up in searches?
