Troy University Sound of the South Marching Band- 2008. "Big Bands Now and Then" show, including Sing, Sang, Sung, Hernando's Hideaway, Fly Me to the Moon (featuring Joe Tiemann, trombone, and Chris Jeter, trumpet) and God Bless the Child (featuring Alex Johnson, trombone, Melanie Perry, trumpet, Lori Galemore, mellophone, and Daniel Arute, trumpet). Drum majors are Jeremy Leach and Kyle Fusco.

  • The sound of the south is the BEST band there is. But...... ever since OK go's newest video, fearturing Notre Dame's marching band, people are starting to question that. What's your take on this?

  • I reckon the bass is so loud here is because they set the microphone up fairly close to the field and he stands there near it. I don't know. Just a guess.

  • why on earth do you need a bass player anyway...isn't that what the low brass is for?

    Just wish we could have toned down the Bass a little bit.... WAY to loud and overpowering. Didn't really notice it until this video, all the others you can barely notice the bass. Other than that we did a great performance that night!
