My 43rd birthday in Chennai, India - Mi 43ro cumpleaños en la India

"I don't want to go to bed, I don't want a beautiful day to end", I wrote on FB last week, as the sunrise of the 11th of November broke through my window. For the entire day I was the guest of four celebrations, 4 cakes and many cheerful words. This video captures the moment with my 1st-year students and our Dean.
As I professor I have the blessing of sharing my knowledge and experience with the first generation of University-educated Indian filmmakers at SRM University. I do not doubt that their eagerness to learn and their creativity will have a positive effect in the already great tradition of Indian cinema.
"No quiero ir a la cama, no quiero que un día tan hermoso acabe", escribí en FB la semana pasada, antes que el amanecer del 11 de noviembre irrumpiese a través de mi ventana. Durante todo el día fue homenajeado con cuatro celebraciones, 4 ponqués y discursos de afecto. Este video capta el momento junto a mis estudiantes de 1er año, colegas y directivas.
Como colombiano tengo la bendición de compartir mis conocimientos y experiencia con la primera generación de cineastas universitarios de la India. No me cabe duda de que su afán de aprender y su creatividad tendrá un efecto positivo en la ya gran tradición del cine hindú
