That's actually not cannon. It was actually Palpatine who claimed to be Anakin's father, but this was only in the first draft of the script and in the novel, but not in subsequent versions of the script. It was taken out. So this is just a theory.

no he was, Darth vader(Anakin) killed the emporer and saving his son and bringing balance to the force for a time, Darth vader was killed by the force lightning that surrounded him when he grabbed the emporer not luke chooping of his hand
