  • In that set up we were using a bb size shot and #6 long shanked hook along with a minnow. Typically when panfishing we use a lighter set up-hook bb shot-worm-ice jig/wax worm ect. The bobber is designed to lay flat. As soon as the bobber begins to stand up you can set the hook. It can be also fished verticle by adding more weight such as when used as a slip bobber for walleyes. Simply add a medium stop/ no bead needed, a jig/leach-minnow-plastic or crawler. Rotate end cap on bobber to slip.

  • What size hook and what type bait? Please?

  • @gonepostal1995 Sorry for the late response - Hook size is a #6 long shank and minnow siize is a small crappie minnow.

  • vut will it work for other types of fish like catfish and do you set the hook like you would for all types of fish!?

  • @adifishing

If fishing for catfish I would suggest using the gamefish series. Depending on the amount of weight used, the bobber can also be fished standing verticle or as a slip bobber. Then as the bobber drops below the surface just set the hook. You will still get the long casting distance along with sensitivity. Also for nightfishing cats I would try the Gamefish Series Night Stalker. Good luck fishing! Tackle 2000 Inc.

  • Good point! As you can see in the video the second the fish inhales the bait the bobber will begin to stand up. You can now set the hook or wait until it goes down under the surface as we did in the video. Good luck fishing! Tackle 2000 Inc.
