@skv1976 why are you being such a buzz kill? Relax, it's a video of an adorable girl reading her favorite book, whether she is really reading or not. Get over yourself. Bryceran, your girl is so precious!

The video was taken by the parents, but posted by the aunt/uncle

What a great gift to the world. I hope she goes places. Is her speech ok? It could be just this video. Also children who are gifted and also those with extra ambitious parents do make it to the top of their classes but somehow end up with little learned social skills. I would love to see this little girl playing with her friends.

Oh....and that book, "Are you my Mother" was my favorite book as a child!

Have you seen the commercials for your baby can read? I had gotten 4 of these videos before they were on television as well a all the signing time videos I could find when my daughter was born she is now 4 and my son is 3. They both are very sharp and my daughter was signing 75 words by th time she was 18 months she now is way past. My son is also the same as she. They are both reading. Lilly would be more then perfect for both. The signing helped them talk early because children sign naturaly.

She's soooooo sweet and smart!!! Grow up like a princess, little angel! <3
She does appear to have an enormous memory, but you can tell by the way she's tracking that she's not actually reading. Also, she start saying the words before she turned the pages. I do believe she is probably gifted, but I don't think she's really reading. If you want to test if she can actually read, give her a book she hasn't seen before. My 5 year old started reading some time after turning 3 and is now reading at a 3rd grade level, so I can tell if a kid is really reading or not.

That's very true. She's had it read to her so many times she's memorized it. Pretty funny to us.

Memorized, I think. She does know all the letters though. They moved about 5 months ago. Bummer, huh.
