  • Every good artist takes what he likes and adds his own spice to the melting pot of sound. Gypsy jazz is not a pure art, but a compilation of cultures and experience.

  • These guys just came to play at my college, they were amazing. now i can tell people the best guitarist i ever seen was a GYPSY! much love to Stephane and his band, they were great

  • @Popovishka i heard it was a modified Washboard pretty amazing..tho..David Langlois.

  • @GassyCoke I hear ya. Nevertheless, I think Stephane Wrembel Trio is primarily a gypsy jazz band---that keeps it interesting i guess?

    cheers.

  • I liked it a lot , really, but i don't think its really Jazz Manouche,i would'nt compare this to Tchavolo Schmitt, Angelo Debarre, or of course Django.

It has some gypsy jazz licks like at 4:10-...
