Wilhelm - I Österled (drums close-up)

This video was originally made as part of my school assignment. It features me playing one of my band's songs at our practise space.

how does your ADA8000 works? do you conect the microfones to the ADA and then you send the signal to a interface via ADAT?

im really interested in buying an ADA for my BCA2000 :D

Indeed, I connect most of the mics to the ADA8000, which is connected to the Fostex VF-16 via ADAT. With this configuration I can record up to 16 tracks simultaneously.

Even if your drummer skills are perfect, you don't MOVE your body. Feel the beat, make it better by this simple thing.

Show music as it is from your heart. People bielieve more, when you are showing, that you LOVE what you're doing. As I'm watching this vid, I'm impressed by your skills, but I'm getting bored as you do NOT move you whole body more than 5 cm.

Keep it, and believe me, you're going to be the best!

You have a point there. I know I don't really move around lot while I play and I know it may look a bit boring. That's mainly because I try to keep my balance as good as possible in order to perform well with my feet and hands at the same time. In this video I'm also concentrating quite hard on playing as clean as possible, so I don't really have time to move around much.

Still, when playing live I try to be more "alive" and hopefully it shows. :)

Really awesome drumming! You are better now than most drummers I know could ever dream of being. I downloaded your band's EP, all REALLY good songs. No joke, send it to a big record distribution company, like Roadrunner or Atlantic. I'd get another copy in a heartbeat!

I used the Fostex VF-16 to record the audio. Then I transferred the tracks to PC and mixed the final stereo track with Cubase.
