Cruz decides to investigate again about Channing Jr's murder. Someone has stolen all his notes and evidences. He sums up all his investigation. He writes all suspects in Lockridge family, Capwell family and Lindsay Smith (Channing's boyfriend).

Kelly is on holidays in Bermuda with Marcello Armonti, her psychiatrist. She's afraid about to go back to Santa Barbara because of Joe's death. Marcello tries to convince her to go back.

Eden has found her father's military number in Marcello's suitcase so she's very suspicious. She phones Cruz to tell it and they're talking about the engagement ring that Eden has pretended to flush. Cruz has just found an empty case...
Then Kelly says to Eden she's agree to go back to Santa Barbara thanks to Marcello. Marcello's going to look for food. Eden & Kelly are talking about him. Eden has doubts but Kelly speaks in defence of him.

Résumé français: Suite à la découverte de certains faits, Cruz a décidé de réouvrir l'enquête sur la mort de Channing Jr. Mais la veille même de la réouverture officielle, il a été cambriolé.
De son côté, Eden a rejoint sa soeur Kelly aux Bermudes. Celle- ci se remet difficilement de la mort de son mari Joe et est aidée par Marcello Armonti, le beau- fils de Sophia Capwell, qui est psychiatre.
Mais Eden est très soupçonneuse à l'égard de Marcello. Elle a d'ailleurs découvert dans la mallette de celui-ci, les plaques militaires de son propre père Channing.
