Video from my Moultrie game camera mounted on the side of our cabin in Talkeetna, it was from May till September when I went in hunting and retrieved the SD card. I power the camera from a car battery and a solar panel but it uses almost no power to keep it running all summer.

  • I do the same with 12 volt sealed in the woods, I have built a case that includes the batteries but on the one that i didnt squirrel or porkie ate the cord. The ones on my cabin under eaves are my old faithfuls, I have more trouble with porkies than anything else.

  • Very nice footage, great variety. I've used 6v sealed lead acid batteries with external cord but the Elk really like to trash them for some reason. No other animals seem to bother it??

  • great vid mate things like this make small solar setups worthwhile
