Plot:
SOLDIER is a group of skilled combat operatives within the Shinra Electric Power Company. The elite within the group — those strong enough to be deemed SOLDIER 1st Class — are respected and idolized by the citizenry. Zack is a young SOLDIER 2nd Class who aspires to become a 1st. He spends his days carrying out assignments under the guidance of his 1st Class mentor, Angeal Hewley.

During an operation in Wutai, a large number of SOLDIER members, led by 1st Class operative Genesis, went missing. The severity of the situation prompts Shinra executives to deploy even more SOLDIER operatives in hopes of bringing an end to the war with Wutai, and conducting an investigation into the mass desertion. The ones assigned to the mission are Zack, Angeal, and 1st Class Sephiroth.

I was reading through the comments and seriously. So basically: "men + emotions about other men = gay" seems to be what some people are thinking.What is wrong with you? So, men can't have male friends? And when their friends die they have to say "meh." and move on? Personally I would have preferred even more emotion, but they kept it to a minimum. I mean, Oh no! He placed his head on his chest oh that's so gay, aah! ...That's just sad.

@mcalte19 They changed Aerith's name because the American producers made a translation error. Her true name is Aerith. It comes from the english word "earth", which, if a Japanese pronounces it, sounds like "Aerith". And obviously she's connected to the earth, being the last Ancient who could hear the Planet and all...

@CampbellsShutup Agrees with that final fantasy isnt actually to bloody logic.... With that fighting style and all that. But then again neither is deadspace with spacebats who changes the dna of dead people and mutates them into new creatures.... But then again if i should play a game out of how close to reality it was i wouldve played sims.... But woldnt acctualy call it gay to cry over another persons death.... And getting emotional at that spot.
