Buster B. Jones - A Simple Gift

The late Buster B. Jones in the studio in April of 2002 playing "A Simple Gift" from his CD entitled "Just Us". We invited cameras into the studio and captured Buster live as he recorded his CD. Often known for his blazing fast speed, Buster shows a softer melodic side in this song. Buster passed away in February of 2009. RIP Buster.

Me too, the only challenge is that the audio is just what was picked up on the camera mic, so it is a bit hard to hear. - Tom

This is interesting because this clip shows him playing the basic part and the audio is the same track we used when producing the finished track, which then had the leads and fills overdubbed over top of what you see and hear in this video.  This is a special video for me because this was the exact take that ended up on the finished CD. We just happened to catch it on video. its a really pretty tune too. - Tom
