  • He should have hired a vocalist for Electric Sun instead of making it hard for him to sing and play at the same time.

  • @santanaincubus is not really that he made it hard for him, is what he wanted to do, you see a man like ULI , he was never about the money ,the fame is what he wanted to do, he was never a sellout!

I know if he had gotten a great singer it would've had a different outcome but , to me he sounds like Bob Dylan ,never really liked his voice but he was & still a genius!

it was the message, ofcourse ULI is all about what he does with his guitar, that's his singing!! but I get your point too!

  • it's all about the guitar and being orig.

  • I focus on his playing & compositions as well,I do agree with you, thnx for your comment!

  • I think the singing is awesome! it works in this song! and more epic solo you'll have to look hard for

  • Roth's voice has always been shaky, but despite that I do marginally prefer Electric Sun to Scorpions. Sure his work with Scorpions is the stuff of legend and for good reason, but the more intricate compositions of Electric Sun intrigue me more. Plus it's when Uli developed more completely his signature style of classically influenced, occasionally technical, yet still soulful lead guitar.

  • Okay Uli hasn't the greatest singing voice in the world but that's not the point really.

That there's sense in your life everday

That there's something that will always be there

That there's no end of day....

I think this is the point.

  • If he would sing just like he sang on the first album then the second one would be great as well.

  • His lyrics are powerful. Uli KNOWS!!!

  • uli can sing!! check out drifting sun then, and put it on loud. a proof of what his voice is capable of :D

  • what? who says uli cant sing?!? check out drifting sun! and put it on loud. a proof of what his voice is capable of i think. :D
