@TechniquePrevails can the average fighter sustain more damage on the instep or thigh and is there a preference to either considering you may be in a long fight? (obviously dont get hit, but if i havent been taught how to defend, and im taking damage, would i want to take an instep leg kick or a thigh leg kick or are they both equally damaging?) thanks man, great channel.

@TechniquePrevails In my training I tend to use what i was taught is a dutch leg kick which is where the shin is raised before coming down onto the top of the leg if the opponent checks low often or to the gastrocnemius if they raise the leg to check high. Also I've always thrown leg kicks opposite of my ending hand on a combination. (e.g. left hook right leg kick to the lateralis of the quads) could you explain where it may be more effective to use this, or what type of fighter this counters?

@Mrclawstorm theyre called leg kicks because you kick them in the leg not because you use your leg. nice try hombre.

Why are you throwing the left kick when you are blinding him with your left hand? Isn´t it more natural to throw jab-cross and then the left kick or jab-jab and then the right kick. And you also get much more tork into your hip by using opposite hand to your leg.

really good video, I tend to kick more than punch so I can use this to set up my low kicks. Thanks!
Why are you hitting the shin with the front kick, im pretty sure its the inside of the thigh you want to hit

Two VERY different kicks- and neither is a "front kick". The inside leg kick can be placed in two different locations- the inside of the thigh or the lower part where the shin meets the instep. Either is fine and equally effective- this video just focuses on the latter of the two.
