@crimsonhawk52 I think it's just semantics. I agree there's a big difference in the feel between "five on the floor" and the 3+2 that jazzmen usually play. But it's still fundamentally 5/4 to me. Kind of like a jazz waltz is clearly 3/4 time (the rocking, pendulum kind of movement that I associate with waltzes), even though the stresses are on 1 and 2+.
But it's just two ways of looking at the same rhythm., I agree.

@Superphilipp hmmm not quite. but thats ok. listen to Mars from the Planets Suite after you listen to this and tell me there's no difference in how the time feels. If you can't tell, then maybe it's just me, idk.
