Jumping Over Bulls - Recortadores de Espanã en Canada

The fearless recortadores from Spain making their debut for the first time in Canada. A spectacular indoor winter event organized by Ganadaria Sol & Toiros at the Orangeville Fairgrounds on the weekend of January 17 & 18, 2009. Xino Esteve & his boys jumped & somersaulted over the bulls in the arena. The Portuguese "capinhas" from Terceira island & the Canadian boys along with one American, entertained the sold-out crowd. Also present at the show were the dozen "cowboys & ranchers" from California & Colorado. An event that will be repeated on a yearly basis by the organizer & stock-breeder Elio Leal. Why are they playing the US anthem in Canada?

@juarezrt The bulls are american - from Colorado & California. They're used to hearing the anthem before a competitive performance.

This is cool! This is much better than the bullfighting i have seen on youtube. Its lkike being a rodeo clown! My only question is what happenes to the bull after? I know in rodeo they are kept, bred, and pampered. Treaded like the star athletes they are. Either way this is pretty cool!

@DaisyDutches The bulls are taken good care of by the breeder Sol & Toiros. They will go to pasture, be fed, have sex, sleep, eat again, sleep again, sex again, etc... & continue the routine over & over until the next month where they will enter the arena again for another run. It's great excercise for the bulls. No one gets hurt in this event. CP

@juarezrt it's fine they play the US anthem in Canada, because after that the music is something called "Viva Espana" and the performance looks more like a Portuguese "bull fight" than to a Spanish one.

But as everything is happening in America maybe it's difficult to make the difference between Spain and Portugal...Anyway that's a great performance

@nosfu666 ¿Tú debes de tener alguna deficiencia mental verdad? ¿Qué tienes en contra de los recortes? El animal no sufre en ningún momento, unicamente embiste y demuestra su bravura, esto si que es ARTE y no las corridas de toros ¿Ves que en algun momento le pinchan o le clavan algo? No, es más, incluso los recortadores le muestran su agradecimiento al arrodillarse delante suya, asi que antes de insultar, informate un poco, anormal.

I laugh when they get their goollies caught on the bulls horns, for being so stupid at dangling them in front of them ...olay...tormenting animals in any way or form is pathetic, so lets hope the animals get the last laugh...silly men....
