hi there! this is my second part of OoT with ZREO music! dont miss the first one :)

anyway:
this video shows, how it would sound like if you use the reorchestrated music by ZREO(www.zreomusic.com).

What i used:
Project 64 1.6(using Rice's Video Plugin 6.1.1 beta 10 and Jabo's DirectSound 1.6)
Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 TRIAL
Fraps 2.8.2
Goldwave 5.19
Super JoyBox 13(GameCube Controller Adapter)
Federelli's Zelda Hi-Res Pack
ZREO's music

What i did:
1. Started 2x Project64 with the Zelda Debug rom and the normal one,
2. Disabled ingame music via the debug menu
3. recorded sound from the debug rom and the video from the normal game
4. Put everything together in Premiere and added the wonderful music by ZREO

The whole thing took me 3h.

Thanks go to ZREO for its music and - of course - Nintendo for its wonderful game!

  • How do you have such high quality graphics, and NOT lag?

  • @NightHorder, get a new computer...

  • @OehrGmbH Give me money. So that I can.

  • @NightHorder, get a job, hobo!

  • where do you get super joybox 13?????? i went to amazon and it was unavailable!

  • @crystallyx

its no longer in production unfortunately. i haven't found any alternatives, as the the joybox has some major input lag and the official win driver are buggy(the driver that come with windows work, just no rumble). well actually theres one. expensive though: spawnlinux.dyndns. org/Bliss-Box/index.html

  • omg the graphics and sounds are so freakin amazing! how did you get it like that?

  • @OehrGmbH

    I would if I could, but unfortunately. I'm only 14. >.>

  • @deathknight246810 Spirit tracks sort of has a bit of medieval feeling like this. at least a lot more that phantom hourglass

  • MY GOODNESS!!! I Wish the 3ds remake had updated music =(

  • Where'd you get those neat textures from?

  • I wish this was available as an add-on to the Virtual Console release of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.

  • i wish zelda soundtracks return to its medieval style like OoT and Mmask.....honestly,,,i didnt enjoy recent zelda soundtracks like before,,,starting from windwaker ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

  • The Zelda Debug ROM was a "testing" game so to say. In the ROM you could do things like mess with the camera angles, modify the sound, and skip levels. The developers (in this case Nintendo) would use this to test the game to ensure that it would not crash.

ZREO stands for Zelda RE Orchestrated, they remake a bunch of Zelda tunes. Google 'em!

  • the zero music is really good.. are they an orchestra or something?

also.. what do you mean zelda debug rom?

I was just playing this on my 64 today after taking some time to get it working, and I realised i wanted to play with hi-res textures on my pc.. after hearing these beautifull re-recordings I would love to be able to get the same sound.

  • ah....the memorys...one of the best games ever by no doubt.

  • The Zreo music brings out so much in this. I would have enjoyed this music with modern day graphics so much. : )

  • When i checked out the zreomusic website, i was very glad to see that there are people that make great music even sound nicer!

Love that site, and the Zelda series!

  • thats mainly caused by youtubes bad sound quality. its numb.

  • the music is so sterile in comparison to the original

  • I justlove the gerudo valley theme <3

  • Oh...because I wanted to make a Legend of Robotnik: Ocarina of PINGAS! But now my dreams are crushed into tiny pieces...

  • well i believe it is possible to replace the music tracks. should actually be pretty easy. at least if you stick with the same format(midi like). if you want wave, mp3 or whatever, major hacking is needed, thus impossible for people like us :)

  • Um, is there any way to mod the ROM in a way that REPLACES the ingame music? If so, I want to get into that.
