This is a video of my L1 certification flight using a GLR Elipse modified for mid-separation and motor deployment. Flew to 1870' on an AT I245G.

  • How did you set up the single deployment? Did putting the main shoot in the lower compartment cause a problem with the CG?

  • Howdy!

I modified it using a "zipperless" design by cutting and coupling down low. I then drilled ejection gas holes in the new lower bulkhead. I also added to extra bulkheads to act as a baffle. The mod didn't move the CG back significantly. It flew very well
