No I don't, but that would be a good idea.

do you know if the YRG can be powered by an ipod wall charger? is it easier to play tapping on the YRG than it is on a real guitar?

Thanks,
This is a great tool have. If you enjoy being creative in making music,
you'll really love using it.
Thanks for your post.

I meant direct into a guitar amp. Also, what is the reason you only tap to control it? What about the string triggers dont you like?

The reason I like the Tap Mode, it triggers faster, unless you like finger picking or strumming chords it will do just fine. On my first video you'll see me do both using a pick and tapping. I learned to adjust my playing by using the tap. If you enjoy experimenting with different sounds and instruments, this is one controller that can help expand your music to a different dimension.

I don't have a guitar amp to play through, but it sounds super nice in my head phone.

Is using external synth patches really the way to go? Are the onboard patches, say, into a guitar at all decent? for a sound comparable to what you have going on here that is.

I prefer using my software synth, for personal tweaking sound settings.
The build in sound patches are impressive enough for any event you want to do.
