Dress Rehearsal

WaverlyShell Rock Junior High students perform during a dress rehearsal on Tuesday afternoon for the 34th annual W-SR Junior High Variety Show. Directed by Charissa Lambert, the show will run Thursday and Friday night at 7 p.m.
W-SR junior Andrew Withers, 17, who came back to perform percussion and drums, was excited to be a part of the performances with his sister and eighth-grader Emma Withers, 14.
"It's a fun time," said Andrew Withers. "It's great to be back in the fun atmosphere."
Limited tickets might still be available by calling the Junior High at 352-3632.
Selected highlights from the rehearsal include "We Will Rock You" by all-chorus members, Kelsey Talamantez and Malea Wheeler singing "Naturally," Keaton Hull performing Soul Man, Anna Johanns singing a solo for the Women's Variety Show Chorus and Kaleb Staack singing "And So It Goes."
