I got the same eyeshadow set and I was pretty disappointed on how the colors turned out. I got'em because they looked pretty amazing and intense, and I wanted the blue and purple to look on my eyes the same way, but they don't.

Although I like the look you ended with, I can't tell much of a difference between the colors in that quad when you use them on your eye. I like how you made it work, but I wouldn't buy it myself.

Yes you can. I have blue eyes too and the theme I rely on is if I want my blue eyes to pop then I use warm tones. I do find if I use too many cool colors in a look then my eyes look grey rather than a vibrant blue. Otherwise play with color combinations to find what appeals to you the most. Remember, like Emily says, there are no rules in makeup so be creative and have fun.
