This is a moth, I think it is anyway, flapping its wings and visiting a flower. This was filmed with a SVSi GigaView high-speed camera. For more information please visit http://www.lucidmovement.com/?p=159

  • It's a skipper, one of the family Hesperiidae. Mostly considered a butterfly, though a bit on the sort-of-between both of them on the evolutionary line.

  • @TheNintendoGalaxy

    I know

  • @TekkoRulz That's just about the same with all insects, fish, and a decent amount of mammals.

  • That's not a moth, its a butterfly, can't remember the name though. Got alot of them at my house. By the looks of it, that one's female. The females are paler in color as opposed to the males, which have a more richer, darker orange.

  • amazing the distance it can get with 4 flaps

  • thats really good! how much was the camera?
