  • Ha! I totally called it! I knew the "La la la" song would have a version with lyrics, just like FF9! XD

  • For some reason Caius's pose made me laugh.

You mean "My Hands" for FFXIII, right? I didn't like that either.

Square Enix always use latin for Final Fantasy though, especially with boss names.

  • @brendude95 thing is, it's not just the japanese version I'm comparing it to but every other version out there. Like I said previously changing Orphanus to Orphan is stupid, since it's 1. a name and 2. In latin and not japanese.

I dont know if you've heard of it, but there was alot of drama when they changed Kimi ga Irukara from the japanese version of XIII to Your Eyes, because (and thats the reason they gave) american audiences might have trouble identifying themselves with a japanese song.

  • @Kizuii

I guess some names are too Japanese, or have a spelling that doesn't work well in the English language (Yul / Yeul is a good example).

I know what you mean about how changing little things from the original pisses you off, it did that to me until I stopped comparing it to the Japanese version.

  • @brendude95 Yeah but you dont translate names D: besides Yul and Yuel are pronounced the exact same way, so all these things do it piss off sad fangirls...like me!

  • @Kizuii

    Translation...maybe? >.<

  • How come the US versions of Final Fantasy always have such trouble getting names right? In Final Fantasy XIII they for whatever reason called the final boss Orphan even thou it's Orphanus in every other version and here they spell Yul as Yuel? What's the deal with this?

  • One like travel! Other one loves sing!.... Other one loves take flowers....

  • @komujimaru Grr I agree

  • There are Yeuls in different times

  • There are many yeuls.
