A Christian look at the prophecies of Nostradamus.

The main outline for this video is taken (but adapted and added to) from the research of the excellent Bible prophecy teacher Mark Hitchcock. For those who are interested in prophecy I would very highly recommend his many books (available through Amazon).

  • Yes, I can go through Shake Spear's books too and find patterns that will prophecize our future, especially after the event passed. This what all the Nastradum followers do.

    No evidence for this.

  • Thank u for warning ppl about wolves in sheep's clothing for if even 1 of a prophet's prophecies is incorrect or they contradict God, they R NOT speaking FOR God, whether they've ever predicted things in the future or not. & they'll lead ppl astray/away from God somehow. & its r duty as his ppl to WARN PPL WE CARE ABOUT (which should b EVERYBODY) to help them not b furthur victims of evil. Unlike "MyFriend"Leonard, (Ha!) who doesn't care if I or any1 gets tricked by evil false prophet creeps!

  • @DavidTheDefender The thing is, though, Nostradamus answers to God, not to you. And you can't presume to know as much as God does, or else you're in even worse trouble.

Judging is something you need prayerfully to think a lot more about. It's a serious issue. We Christians can't be doctrinaire. We've got to be loving, fair, and smart.

Don't worry about the salvation status of other lovers of Christ. Just worry about your own. And know that your soul and theirs are in Good Hands.

  • @MyFriendLeonard1 I won't argue with you about a man who made up vague prophecies and got his answers from a scrying pool of water because it is the practice of the occult. And in that practice there are no prophecies from God because it's not from God that people do those things. God bless.

  • @MyFriendLeonard1 And do you not judge a tree from the fruit that comes from it? I don't know if this man believe in Jesus Christ as his savior in his heart God says we can't know the heart. But I can see what has come from this man and the things are not of God. So judging what has come from Nostradamus wasn't following what God willed and was a false prophet who gained his prophecies from demons who were making him see visions in his scrying pool of water.

  • @DavidTheDefender If a prophet loves Jesus, then he is of God. A prophet is to be judged on his love for God, nothing else. Start judging him on other bases, and you can only slip away from God's Love yourself, and into Pharisaic lawyering.

I'm adamant that we understand that a foolish prophet who loves Christ is quite different from a false prophet who hates Christ. One can be wrong but not false. One can be false but right. Accuracy proves nothing. Honor even nitwits if they love JESUS.

  • @MyFriendLeonard1 Yes but he still is a false prophet and not of God that is not something that is to be debated. He wasn't correct all the time with his predictions, and the true prophets of God are. Now you have to be able to distinguish people of God and people of the devil because there will be many people who say they come in the name of God and they will be lying. There are a lot of false prophets today because God said there would be in his word, watch out for them.

  • Well done Shazman.

Nostrodamus has been used for countless failed disasters. The Y2K (2000 A.D.) was hyped-up on TV shows/documentaries about doomsday prophecies. Now he is being credited with 2012 doomsday prophecies.

I think non-Christian groups are pumping the media full of misconceptions and false prophets for a reason.

  • Great video!!! even if Nostradamus was always right in his prophecies he still not one of God's prophets even if he claim to love Jesus God has prophets satan has prophets God is ruler of the universe satan wants to be ruler God has angels satan has demons everything God has satan has so is important to know the Bible to know the difference a prophet of God is obedient to Gods laws will never say anything other than what is written and will always give the credit to God Almighty

  • Excellent video!
