Three different bottom deals, I'm not sure of who came up with two of them but the first is the Erdnase bottom deal from Expert at the card table.

and the music is from Requiem for a dream.

  • the first two were obcious as hell

  • @mediumrarekrew been ages since I looked at this video...I agree they are pretty bad, I've now refined the erdnase bottom deal and just ditched the others, better to do one well than 3 badly. Anyway, thanks for watching and commenting!

  • straddle grip is easiest

the other 2 i dont understand

  • The erdnase grip, where the two fingers are on the front of the deck, covers the front edge so people do not see the card coming fromthe bottom, That grip also allows for the actual mechanics of that deal to take place. The mechanics grip is the way that most people naturally hold cards and many will argue that that is how you should hold the cards when false dealing so that there are no discrepancies in your grip. I believe it was Dr. Elliot who popularised the straddle grip for bottom dealing.

  • You fingers flare a bit too much. Try a strike Erdnase or a Strike Bottom from Marlo's Master Grip. Keep practicing. 3/5.

  • Yes I am aware of the knuckle flashing. I shal definately try your advised methods as soon as possible :)

  • @jimmydarkful

Lux Aeterna - Clint Manswell (also called Requiem for a Dream, because it's in that movie)

  • With sound it would be better because i think the knuckle flashing isnt the biggest problem but the snap that a bad bottom deal make is the real give away.

  • can you post a tutorial video

  • where can i learn the 1 with mechanics grip?

  • what is the song called? it is in the movie "requim of a dream"

  • some nice bottoms there dude =)
