i love listening to this song repeatedly everyday because i love it's unique lyrics & uplifting melody.Simon & Garfunkel are one of my most favorite artists of all time...Also because this is an anti war song.

I learned this in the early 70's, in school in Northern Ireland. We were told that no matter how long it took, that we should hope and pray for peace. It finally happened - not necessarily in a way pleasing to all, but today my children live in peace. May every nation find it, because it is worth having.
