  • Geez Louise. All that is unnecessary. Just pour hydrogen peroxide on it every day. It is clear you are obsessed with your infection and I highly recommend you for an intervention.

  • @holyfanoly Sorry if this annoys you - but the nurses that instructed me told me to do it this way every day because it needed to heal from the inside out.

  • I'm glad the treatment wasn't painful. Was the numbness from the wound itself, or from an administered anesthetic?

  • @1958boomergirl the numbness was from nerves that had been damaged - I have since had the nerves heal and it is a bit numb there still when I press right where the scar is.

  • How does a scrach turn into a deep hole in your leg?

  • @TwinsSilly when a certain bacteria gets in the wound and it gets infected, it can turn into either a staph infection or a mrsa staph infection - which is what mine was.

  • @johnny102marvin my scar has healed and there is a nice scar... I have all the feeling back. When I press directly on the area, it's a bit tender. Besides the scar, the only bad this is that my calf doesn't look smooth from the side - it looks like there is an indentation. But I am healed.

  • @holyfanoly Hydrogen Peroxide is only good for immediate use. Hydrogen Peroxide kills both the good and the bad bacteria so if you use it daily then your wound will heal very slowly and unhealthily.

  • I'll never forget the time I had a staph infection on my eye ball. They had to lance it and squeeze it out. And then shove packing into my eye.

  • @holyfanoly MRSA is a different animal.

  • -_- She overdid it.... it5 would hurt way less at the Drs

  • your are doing all wrong in my opinion i am nurse in france

  • @holyfanoly The packing soaks up all of the puss that can gather on the inside and cause it to become infected again.

  • @holyfanoly

paper plane comment, really? i guess studying for a degree in aerospace engineering is not at all usefull in the modern world.

so tell me, what do you have degrees in?

  • @holyfanoly

I have emergency medical training from being a certified Rescue Diver.

this ABSOLUTELY is an infection. And please don't attack me, you know nothing about who I am or what I do. We wouldn't be having this problem if you could keep your personal views out of it. I have no problem with you, but the blatant attack of people healing themselves as "needing an intervention" is downright sickening. if you had a problem don't watch this. I watched only to see different treatment methods.

  • @planelovingbastard Unless you are a doctor or a Pharmacist, I probably know more about medicine then you do, so stop trying to sound smart. This had nothing to do with medicine in the first place. Congratulations on being an idiot. go make a paper airplane.

  • @holyfanoly

hydrogen peroxide is an organic chemical solvent, it will destroy even the white blood cells fighting the infection.

not to mention Staphylococcus infections are nasty, and easily develop resistance to anti-biotics.

it is clear that you know nothing about medicine. And i highly recommend you read before posting.

also, please keep in mind that not EVERYONE on the planet has to follow your religion. Some of us who believe in medicine, will even live longer. :-)
