Since the age of 14, Jennifer Davis lived with chronic back pain. She tried medicating the pain away, but lost sleep and even jobs throughout the years trying to deal with it.
After visiting numerous specialists and given no hope, Davis found the Baylor Scoliosis Center at Baylor Regional Medical Center at Plano. They diagnosed her with a 51-degree right thoracic scoliosis curvature of the spine.
After examining her old X-rays, they also discovered her curve had worsened about one degree every year and she was a candidate for a posterior nine-level thoracic spinal fusion.
Today, she walks straight and tall.
