That is one brilliant game by Ivanchuk. I have never seen Kasparov so amazingly outplayed. Such an innovative opening idea, and to my mind forcing a re-enactment of the Knight v Bishop argument.

7:40 -- Seeing all of Kasparov's pieces squeezed into a corner reminds me of the Karpov vs. Kasparov game at Linares in 1993, where Kasparov forced all of Karpov's pieces onto the first rank.

This couldn't have been Kasparov playing black. I bet some guy kidnapped the real Kasparov, hid him in a closet, then proceeded to play this game for him. The real Kasparov is too brilliant to lose.
