From Elton John's 1978 album "A Single Man". Written by Elton John and Gary Osborne. As with all songs Elton wrote with Osborne, Elton wrote the music first, along with the title and chorus, so the lyrics were really a collaboration with Gary Osborne.
Featuring musicians: Steve Holly (drums), Clive Franks (bass), Tim Renwick (guitars), Ray Cooper (tambourine), Elton John (piano & clavinet); backing vocals: Vicky Brown, Joanne Stone, Stevie Lange, Gary Osborne, Chris Thompson; orchestral arrangement: Paul Buckmaster.
The autographed CD cover at the end of the video was my very first autograph from Sir Elton John! Many more have happened since then!
