I doubt very seriously the father of this child would put him on a dangerous animal. The firm patting (or hitting) that this child is doing to this horse doesn't seem to be bothering the animal. This is good therapy for all involved.

I'm sure the horse is fine, it takes kind of a lot to hurt such a big animal.. he could have worn a helmet though, the kid seems a little nervous.. lol

not to be mean i have many friends who are autistic but try to tell him not to smack the horse so hard. i know id hate to see it get mad and hurt him.
