    Though he may be a bit cocky sometimes, he is still really good!

    I used to watch his show where he toured Italy..i was laughing when some old lady told him he couldn't cook properly

  • All those intentionally/unintentionally dissing Jamie, i think U guys are full of crock. Cheffery is so passé, and pretentious. REAL is what Jamie is & that is more than being a "chef". A chef in a ponzi restaurant is nothing more than frills, a Chef is someone who feels his food, gets down & dirty with it. Jamie gets down and dirty with food and that's how he won thousands of fans by keeping it REAL, not frilly-ponzi-stuff. No disrespect to Ramsay and Savoy because i think they're great too.

  • im going to say this agian "Im not saying jamie is a bad chef he is good at what he does basic, simple, naked dishes that he charges a arm and a leg for." hes is a good chef but i dont think he is a GREAT chef like poeple think he is maybe some day he is still very young for a chef.

  • The women who apprenticed him have both said he is a brilliant cook with a great feel for food. As for his Dad he owns a well respected gastro pub. I see no shame in that do you? You make Jamie sound like Ainsley Harriot. Jamie Oliver is leagues ahead of that. Even Marco Pierre White who dislikes Jamie makes jokes about his weight and not his cooking. Do you not think he would not rip into him for crap cooking skills if he was justified in doing so?

  • he never finished his training there. it were he got discover then moved back to landon to do his show. his dad owned a pub not a restaurant 2 very different thing trust me I've worked in both. his tour of Italy was not training either u can really train some were if ur only there for 3 day max.
