  • @dombower Hi, thanks for the video. Basically, the other gentleman's question is the same as mine. I'd like to see real world use and application set up all the auto/manual and wireless of these flashes. SB600 cannot be master, right? Could the SB800 or 900? How to use them altogether? Examples? I'm selling a 580EX II canon flash to buy a SB800 or 900, should I? what do you suggest? selling it because don't know how to manually use it. I own a SB600/D5000. tnx

  • SB900 GN is small then SB800.

  • i can flash about 10 times in a row without getting that refresh-beep O_o

  • if you put the sb 800 external battery pack it will load faster than SB 900

  • Great job !!

  • im really sorry but im a totall noob but i was wondering if u could use the flash when filming? if u cant what is it that i should use? so i can light up the face or the body when shooting at night

  • Very interesting. Thanks, I am looking for a flash for my D7000 and vids like this make my choice a fair bit easier. Thanks again...

  • Nice, thanks for the video :). Did the SB-900 starts to warm up after several burst? because I heart about overtheating problem and termic protection ? Is a Sb800 better on this overheating ?

  • @SwoosS What I am doing is using the SB-900 as a fill light and using my SB-800 with the Stofen

Omnibounce as a main light -- you can shoot with the SB-800 all day long without overheating on rechargeables without any issues. SB-900 has better specs, but SB-800 is rugged and reliable. I will

buy come Duracell 1.5v's next time and see how it goes.

  • @photobytim the overheating is related to iTTL full power and/or type of batteries. I would suggest using Duracell coppertop 1.5v rather than rechargeable 1.2v batteries. you will find this resolves your issue. "SB-900 Rules"
