This AMV is about Tomoya and Nagisa. The term "At the beginning" for this AMV is the moment the two lovers met, under the cherry blossoms on their way to school. They eventually go out, get married..and have a child. Because of that, Nagisa passed away due to the pain of the birth and because she had a weak body. Years pass, and Tomoya meets his daughter. She then dies, and Tomoya gets the chance to choose if he wants to meet her again...at the beginning. What will he choose? To meet her, or not?

Wow. So I never actually watched this anime because I was too scared for the emotional turmoil I would go through. Now esp. after watching this video I'm even more scared to watch it. Not that your video was bad, it's anything but that, it just emphasized how sad and emotional the anime really is. Anyways, great job on the amv!

@RPPuzzle I tried to show what really happened at the end of the anime, but it was just hard to do that. The end of the anime is actually very, very , very happy! :)

This one stood out most for me because I'm a single Dad and, while it was playing, my 4yr old daughter was sleeping with her head in my lap. I teared up a bit. I'm an anime geek for life now. Excellent work!

I'm love Clannad since the first time I'm listening the series. I love to see the fanwork and I have to say this AMV is one of my favorite! You did a excellent job and I love the story that you tell in this AMV. Well done and you make me cry...This serie is very a emotionnal one.
