Cover of Climbing The Ladder from Saga's First Album. Used only Software synhs to remake this cover. Arturia's CS80 and minimoogs only. This song has a classsic prog rock style which is why I like it. It was also the first Saga song I ever heard... Enjoy...

  • Thank you. I think the first to albums are different to the rest. Peter had a great style also. The Humble Stance solo is his and Ian's which was a great duet. The next song Hot to COld is from Images and that one had a style more like It's Time or Slow Motion where the solos are not single notes but played in chords. I find that to be the hardest. The three were great keyboard players and I liked all of them and have learned from all of them. Gilmour is still my favorite. Thank you..

  • Eventhough this Saga track has less keyboards than most of them, still very interesting keyboard parts in the latter part of the song! You played them very well PTSF!

  • THIS IS FUCKING AWESOME!!! Thank you for this one!!!

  • You hit this one right out of the ball park! Awesome cover.

Just wondering because you have the style of Jim Gilmour down, did you find it harder to learn the track on how Peter Rochon played?

My Favourite parts are at 1:57 and 4:23

    Thanks for sharing with us.
