tunnel installation

this sound installation took part in an exhibition in bergen, january 2006 and was heard by thousands of people walking by for the 4 days it took part. it consists of 8 speakers placed in the roof throughout the tunnel

we like this. the way the lighting has worked especially. how long was the actual sequence and what speed did you play it. whats the software you used to edit

hi. this is an octofonic sound-installation. there are 8 speakers throughout the tunnel and the piece was looped after 22 minutes. the video is speeded up 8 times faster than the original. glad you like it! thanx:)

so the sound is normal speed and the video is 8 times faster?

did you record the sound before, or is it a reaction on the people passing by?

I don't really understand the idea, though I have to admit it looks nice!

sound is hard to hear though, had to put my speakers full, to hear just a little (but maybe that's just my mac)
