We were recently on a photo shoot and came across this awesome dairy in Northern California. Because we will be attending the Red Bluff Bull and Gelding Sale, I wanted to paint something to take along. I couldn't resist #1207 as my subject for a couple of reasons: This is Pearl Harbor Day and my dad is a Pearl Harbor survivor and it is also the wedding anniversary of my dear friend in Cape Town, South Africa.

  • great Art Work ! Amazing , i have 2 questions .. in what time you finish this cow ? and second , I have prismacolors , what kind of paper Board yo recommend me to paint with my pencil colors ? Thanks ..and I Love cows and Horses !

  • @jenruchito76 Hello and thank you! This is my small painting series, they take me around 2-3 days working several hours a day. I use CarbOthello pastel pencils because to me.... the prismacolors are waxie and a little more difficult to blend and layer. I'm not knocking them I just prefer the pastell pencils myself! My paper is Bristol Board 500 cold press which is a nice board or rag illistration board. I just show what I feel are the important parts on the video as the rest is repetitive.

  • An other very good work

  • @turelsut1 Thank you very much!!

  • your artwork is AMAZING!!! i subbed. do you copy the outline of the pic?

  • @CHloE748 Hello! Thanks for your nice comment! I do a pre drawing with graphite pencil, all hand done using reference photos, no copying. I use Bristol Board 500 cold press paper.
