If you are as big a conservative as you claim, supporting Mitt Romney makes no sense. He'll say or do anything to get elected.

As for Obama turning the country socialist, he's really not anymore socialist than Clinton, FDR or LBJ. Don't believe the hype. Obama is nothing but a less intelligent Bill Clinton with a funny name. It's not Armegeddon. I'll wager when Obama leaves office either in 2013 or 2017, the country won't be that different than it is today.

It wasn't so much of a lesser of two evils, but rather the evil of two lessers. This type of rationality that says that McCain is the best of two bad choices is cowardly on the part of voters.

McCain's big election mistake was choosing Palin. Her "pallin' around with terrorist" comment and "they're not like us" propaganda, swung the "swing" voters to Obama. True conservatives need to distance themselves from attack politics. A few new ideas would help also.

why wouldnt mccain alllow socialism. the first socialist president I know of was lincoln. then bush started the first stimulis. why wouldnt mccain follow in their footsteps?
