I think the Police need civilian oversight and am for filming every police encounter, no matter what. Bad Cops MUST be punished. I don't believe this is one of those cases. I don't know the law in D.C. about filming in the memorial, but feel these cops exercised control and acted within their authority to close the monument. threatening to arrest for filming, well, not nice but he actually only ejected him based on the monument's closure. Let's focus on bringing croup violent cops to justice!
