The SpongeBob Squarepants balloon i got from a fair was deflating slowly, so instead of letting it go to waste, i decided to tie a note to it and see how far it travelled...

BALLOONS ARE BAD FOR THE ENVIRONMENT, don't release them, not to metion the risk of destroying a jet plane in the process. Let mylar balloons deflate, and reuse them later, that is the best thing.
