You won't believe your ears when you hear the difference a customized setup by Dan Lashbrook makes on ANY acoustic guitar!! Listen to Dan explain about this limited edition 2001 Martin "Keb Mo'" guitar, it's problem areas, and most importantly what he will do to repair and optimize the guitar. Listen to Dan play the guitar before the setup and after the setup. You will finish this video amazed. Great pains were taken to insure that the audio portion of this video was recorded in exactly the same conditions before and after. There are no effects of any kind added to the sound. It was recorded in stereo using Pro Tools and Peluso microphones. The microphone placements were measured, tape was put on the floor and the exact distances from the instrument were triangulated. The settings on the MBox used were identical. This test is as accurate as they come. Listen to his voice if you not convinced and you will note that his voice retains the same volume and timber in both videos. Had effects been used this would have been impossible since he actually speaks as the guitar is ringing.

  • TOM McCABE POSTED THIS COMMENT ON FACE BOOK .Sent my 2010 Martin 000-28VS 12-fret slot head for Dan Lashbrook to set up. All my guitar buddies... take a look at this video so you can see a great before and after. Dan "Hot Rods" acoustic guitars the way Carol Shelby "hot rods" an off the line Mustang. Dan is the Master (also a champion bluegrass picker).

  • Thank you Bassface84 your ears work fine, myself and the owner of the guitar also thought the guitar came up considerably.

  • It is still a KEB MO. If you had a super charged Mustang would you call it a Chevy???

  • What is the point of having a guitar of any model if you can't get sound or tone, if you cannot hear the difference before and after, on this guitar you obviously need to take up the harmonica. The customer that had the guitar set-up is extremely happy with the guitar it has increased volume, and tone. If you live to be 100 you will never play a guitar as good as this KEB MO. Thank you very much

  • definitely can hear the difference… good work.

  • Hi, Dan I have tell you I have been nothing but happy with this guitar. Yep I own the Keb Mo. I knew the guitar was much more than HD-28 that Martin makes today. I bought it for the special sound and tone. Since some know or not some spectacular guitars have had some extra work to make them what they are today. For example Neil Young's D45, D28 & D18 those as you can hear live or studio and are out of this world. It's still a Keb Mo but it's super charged. A keeper! Thanks Dan!! Luv Martin's

  • I hear the difference. I'm just saying that it's no longer a Keb Mo model. That's all. I think it sounds great.

  • You keep telling yourself that. I'm sure Martin will be calling you soon.
