Firefox let's you add self-signed SSL certificate exception easily when you go to an SSL site that has a self-signed certificate. Google Chrome and Internet Explorer however give you a warning message every time you go to a site like this. Watch this video to find out how to tell Windows that you trust your self signed certificate so Chrome and IE stop complaining.

  • Are you on Mute mode?? >_<

  • Yes, very helpful, thanks. I was able to export the certificate from Firefox the way you did through Chrome but I had to click a few of the available file types to see what extensions it would add. The first in the list gave it .crt. Even though it is default, I had to explicitly click that filetype so it would add the extension to the filename.

  • Cheers
