@1975saigon I'm sure you'll agree that the basic point is that people in different countries, are brainwashed to see different animals as "pets", "food", "farm animals" (which are just as intelligent). The crux though is that we don't need to be cruel in either country. We don't need to keep birds in cages ("pets"?), hang and skin dogs & cats alive nor hang cows/pigs/chickens upside-down and slit their throats, etc. It seems we all have something to learn from each other. What do you think?

Isn't it funny how many Americans ignorantly cry out "animal cruelty!" and put the rights of animals above the value of human life being a society that accepts abortions. Don't get me wrong, I'm not for animal abuse, but I think its disturbingly sick how in the society and governments of Westerners place dogs above conceived human babies. It's an animal, some cultures view it as as pets, others as food. The health reasons why not to eat a dog aren't much different from why not to eat pork.

also, I'm from Vietnam. i was born and raised in America. i visit Vietnam twice a year, every year. I have traveled from the north all the way down to the dirty south. No where and no one, i mean it, eats dog meat. You'd have to be way out in the ghetto or something. I don't even think that's a dog. and most people don't like dogs so there are a lot strays everywhere or in cages. even if it is a dog, look at the AMERICANS in this video LAUGHING at the animal being fried.

dog are smart and should not be eaten. pigs, cows, birds and other animal lifeforms are dumb and can be eaten on a daily basis. <--------------- that pretty much sums up all the comments for this video. i can see that that dog is scared, but I'm pretty sure the chicken, pig, bird, cow and etc. were scared too. ever watch an AMERICAN chicken plant video? you should type it in. the only difference between America and the east is that Americans kill behind doors and the east show like it it is.

eating dogs and cats only came about when those countries were extremely poor, it was much cheaper to eat a stray dog then to go to the super market and buy a steak. This isnt their culture, it hasnt been around for hundreds of years, its wrong disgusting and needs to be stopped.
