Mario Kart Wii: What Am I Thinking? 2-28-09

We all know how crazy online racing is, especially with how items usually determine the winner. When I race, a lot of things go through my mind. With the use of You Tube's annotations, you'll be able to see what I was thinking as I was racing. For security reasons, because you never know what might happen out there, I have hidden my true identity by racing as "Rich Petty", after Richard Petty, the 7-time champion of NASCAR. Perhaps you've seen me before.

Last season, Jordan (JordyOhYea) and I did a "Switch-Mii" race. With the help of AIM:Voth24 (Voth24), it was a huge success. This is the second "Switch-Mii" race; unfortunately, neither Jordan nor Voth were available at the time. In this "Switch-Mii" race, r♪ (designedmusic) and I switched places so that she raced as Rich Petty in the Wild Wing and I raced as r♪ in the Dolphin Dasher. As you all know, I'm a karter, not a biker; so I had a lot of trouble just trying to keep up with the group. Bad luck seemed to follow us as we fell victim to faulty connection in the first group and a hacker, MJLuvsBoys, in the second. MJLuvsBoys... eww! Anyway, Trent Rez (CustomSongCharter) joined the second group and kept me company as I struggled mightily in the back of the small pack. He recorded the race preceding this one for his video, "Mario Kart Wii: Online Race (2/27/09)." Making his debut in this series is »βullεt« (siryummytummy); though, it wasn't until the day I uploaded this video that I realized it was him. This video is compiled of three separate recordings: the first recording is the Mii map, the second is the connection failing, and the third is the actual race. The date that these were recorded is 2-27-09, but since I already have an episode with that date, I've labeled this one 2-28-09. "Switch-Mii" will not be back next season, so if you like the concept, I hope you really enjoy this one.

It's a nice change from the usual Wild Wing while still being an okay kart. Plus I just like the way Mario looks in a standard kart.

The Sprinter has MASSIVE speed. MJ obviously didn't get hit very much, and the sprinter's speed kicked in. I play as Luigi with Sprinter, and I've been able to lap 6th with it! I've lapped 4th though with Dry Bowser and Flame runner.
