No. I did not have to do anything with my case. The only thing that I did (optional) was make a square hole next to the power supply. It was sort of point less since the power supply wires are too short.

Nice rig. Did you have to cut away at the mounting bracket in order to get it on your motherboard? I have the 680i also and I've been hearing that there were things under the board that blocks it.
