On Sept. 29, 2011 we dedicated the Franklin Permaculture Garden to past, present and future students of the university. It was an amazing day of celebration and inspiration and we were lucky enough to have Frances Moore Lappe deliver the keynote speech! Over two hundred and fifty took time out of their day to celebrate with us and we thank you for making the event a huge success! We would also like to thank all of the guest speakers for your inspirational and supporting words. None of this would have been possible without you.

I agree completely, that the enforcement of scarcity has needlessly siphoned the resources from the economy. If we build a Grassroots Economy, we will instead experience the celebration of abundance, and permaculture is the greatest way to achieve abundance.
