Containervessel M/V Leda Maersk (DK) - the Engine department -- a short VHS-C footage I made on february 21st. 1998 (a sunday I think it was) with my (at that time) newly in Hong Kong bought JVC GR-AX338 analog camcorder. Footage digitaly remastered in 2010.
Footage content:
The Main Engines several floors/decks/galleries in the cathedral (ME-rom), the long Axleshaft/tunnel, one of the Aux-Engines, spareparts of the interior of the engines (piston, cylinderhead, lining, ++), one of several ME-Turbochargers, the Separator-room, the ECR (Engine Control Room) before the flooding of modern computers and stuff -- and the "devil´s playground"; the Workshop.
