Otakon 2010 - Pokegear (A Parody of Lady Gaga's Telephone)

Some people wanted to know where to get the song since we performed this at Otakon 2010. I shortened the video just for the song. And yes, we sang the song ourselves.

We also made the costumes ourselves after weeks of intense sewing. It was a great learning process for us, especially Christina who's never sewn before or been in a masquerade. She was our choreographer this year (along with Jessica's help). She even threw in some K-pop moves, if any of you noticed.

I also want to thank our Rocket Boys Joe, Menna, AJ, and Matt for learning their parts in less that two days. All the girls in the audience thought they were hot and got so much praise in the end. My goodness.

This is the Straight Line Association's third year doing anime convention masquerades and this definitely has to be our most successful.

We won two awards that night. We won Best Novice Performance and a Judges Award for Up and Coming Masters. It's really an honor to get that much from our first time performing at Otakon, our biggest convention yet.
