  • I think that the title is incorrect.

Many animations are not made for children.

Akira comes to mind as an animation that most definitely has an 18 certificate.

  • @isthatallyoucando This is where you are incorrect:

This animation WAS made for children and it aired as a Children's TV show.

  • is that satan?

    who is the angel?

  • @cp3leo10 Satan is the Angel.

Before Lucifer was cast out of Heaven he was a powerful Angel. He was in charge of Heavens Choir.

  • holy fuck this is Disturbing man !

  • eainstein has an lsd trip lol hail 9gag

  • It's attitude and beliefs seem more like what I would attribute to God.

  • @Guilthas Absolutely. I guess I didn't want to go for an obvious options such as South Park, Family Guy, etc etc... I was just really intending to suggest that because it was animation, doesn't mean it was intended for children, regardless of the rating it is given, or regardless of what channel wanted to air it (even during a kids hour).

Babies smoking cigars were fine in my day... the censors may not like it these days! I agree 100% with the political issues.

  • @isthatallyoucando While it is true that in Japan most of anime is actually intended for adults and have age restrictions it's not that much the case in the western world. Then again I was born in the 80's and in my childhood shows for children were much different than what they are now. Cartoons depicted serious issues about life and the world, and in my youth children's programs were often made into political propaganda in Europe and they did actually teach important things.

  • 1:58 i thought he was going to pull a trollface!

  • @videocircus I didn't actually say it WASN'T made for children, I simply implying that I think that it's incorrect based on what we are seeing. Considering it was BANNED, as you say, I'm sure the TV censors (and you) agreed. Mark Twain's original story referencing Satan (the Mysterious Stranger) were not aimed at children at all (was quite philosophical). As an animation, this film has a "U" certificate but I would give it much higher for certain scenes. It is available on DVD now.

  • I feel some truth in this thing about if there's no earth like every thing is gone what we are? Nothing! it's just space! Nothing Exist!

  • Even the music is pretty eerie.
