A better way to switch sides is to pull the mirror off of the wire, and then put it on the other way around. The mirror is drilled all the way through so that you can do this. You can find the Bike Peddler's website by Googling Bike Peddler Greely, but it's not all that good a website.

Sadly finding out after I've spent the money..this mirror is not truly left side efficient as the mirror likely is to be as the vision would be a vertical view rather than the broader horizontal . I would have preferred that they mirror both sides or sell them side mount specific.

I just received my mirror from Amazon. Great video. I'm sure I would have figured it out, but watching it installed on your helmet made it a breeze! I took it on its maiden voyage to church this morning and it worked like a charm. No more veering into the weeds as I look back over my shoulder.

Could you tell me how to find the Bike Peddler site. I have googled it with no result. I am wondering which model would be best for me. I am very nearsighted (can't drive) and am thinking that the 'compact' might be better as it brings the mirror closer to my eyes.

Nice idea to make a normal helmet look worse.
Doubt they fit on my downhill fullface helmet anyway.

Tim, we have the longer version. I think it's a bit easier to focus on, but I've never tried the shorter version. The one we bought is the only one REI sells, which I guess says something as well.
